3/30 10-12: Nutritive Tonic Infusions

Are you looking to incorporate more naturally sourced vitamins and minerals into your daily regimen? Do you want to start working with herbs but not quite sure where to begin? Nutritive daily tonic infusions are an excellent place to start. Drink your nutrients, herbalist style, with daily nourishing herbal infusions. In this class you’ll learn the benefits of nutritive tonic infusions, how to prepare them and how set yourself to show your body the support it’s been calling for. We’ll discuss several herbs which are rich in vitamins and minerals, giving you plenty of options to choose from as you decide which suits you best for daily use. Each participant will leave with a 32 oz glass jar to prepare your infusion in, along with 1 oz of my favorite nutritive herbal blend along with recipe to inspire you to continue making at home.

4/6 10-12: Herbalism for Stress Management

Stressed? Frazzled? Frayed? You are not alone. In this class, we will touch upon the workings of the neuro-endocrine system as it relates to stress and the role herbal adaptogens and nervines can play to potentially improve stress response and restore balance within, each in their own unique way. Learn how to work with these herbs in both the immediate and long term to help support the mind and body for a calmer, more adaptable you. All participants will leave with printed material to take home and deepen their knowledge as well as a sample of my custom herbal blend to calm frayed nerves and the recipe to inspire you to continue making at home. Leave feeling hopeful and empowered. 

4/6 2-4: Herbal Balms and Salves Workshop

Back again for another hands-on workshop, Britney will be discussing herbal oil infusions, and how to create your very own balms and salves. This workshop will include and educational portion discussing basic terminology and equipment needed (most already found at home), a full demonstration on all the how to's, as well as a take home DIY kit with your very own infused herbal oil and everything you need to make your very first salve at home. Leave feeling inspired, empowered and ready to get creative on your herbal journey.

4/27 10-12: Root Detox Decoction

This is a wonderful time to purge internal stagnation and refresh the systems. In this class we’ll discuss how some plant roots help to cleanse accumulated toxins and discover how to prepare them an herbal decoction to extract the most benefit. You’ll also learn some foundational information as to how support the body throughout the process. Each participant will leave with a 32 oz glass jar to store your decoction in, along with 1 oz of my dried detox blend. The detox detox root decoction recipe will be provided to inspire you to continue making it at home. Leave feeling enlightened and empowered.

5/4 11-12:30: Sourdough Workshop

All hands-on learners, this one is for you! Come learn all about the gut microbiome, how it impacts our overall health and wellness, and ways to support it in this interactive educational experience. During this class we will sample some sourdough treats and you will be provided with a sourdough starter and the opportunity and instructions to administer your first feed to the starter at our feeding station! Walk out the door with your sourdough starter and recipes to start baking foods to promote gut health. This sourdough starter will last a lifetime if properly cared for. Your ticket will also include a sample of a gut supporting herbal blend to take home.

5/11 9-1: Mother's Day Medicinal Herb Sidewalk Sale

Join us for our second annual Medicinal Herb Sidewalk Sale this Mother's Day happening right on the sidewalk in front of Thyme! We will be offering a variety of live medicinal herb plants for you to bring home and love. Whether you pot them or plant them in your home gardens, we know you'll enjoy tending to the plants that will later bring your body so much nutritive support through the summer and beyond. Herb plants are sold on a first come first serve basis, so get there early for the finest pickings. Once they're gone, they're gone.

 5/18 10-12: Foundational Herbal Terminology

Have you been wanting to learn more about herbalism but don’t know where to start? This is the class for you. In this beginner class you’ll learn foundational herbal terminology to help develop your herbal knowledge, enrich your studies and gain more confidence in your home practice. You will be familiarized with herbal vocabulary and develop a better understanding surrounding plant parts, herbal preparations and actions. All participants will leave with a printed material to take home and deepen their knowledge. Leave feeling enlightened, empowered and proud of yourself for taking this first step course.
