Herbalism for Stress Management
Instructor: Co-Founder of Thyme Herbal Apothecary, Heather is a community herbalist whose herbal path has spanned and evolved tremendously over 25 years. A natural caregiver with a passion for advocacy and health autonomy, Heather stepped aside from her role as a Registered Nurse of 18 years to focus on the expansion of her holistic education and pursuits. With a solid foundation in herbalism and combining her knowledge of both allopathic and holistic care, Heather aims to support her community to gain confidence and improve well-being through the development of a more a natural approach to self care.

In this class, we will touch upon the workings of the neuro-endocrine system as it relates to stress and the role herbal adaptogens and nervines can play to potentially improve stress response and restore balance within, each in their own unique way. Learn how to work with these herbs in both the immediate and long term to help support the mind and body for a calmer, more adaptable you. All participants will leave with printed material to take home and deepen their knowledge as well as a sample of my custom herbal blend to calm frayed nerves and the recipe to inspire you to continue making at home.
