About the Instructor: Co-Founder of Thyme Herbal Apothecary, Heather is a community herbalist whose herbal path has spanned and evolved tremendously over 25 years. A natural caregiver with a passion for health advocacy and autonomy, Heather stepped aside from her role as a Registered Nurse to focus on the expansion of her holistic education and pursuits. With a solid foundation in herbalism, and combining her knowledge of both allopathic and holistic care, Heather aims to support her community to gain confidence and improve well-being through the development of a more natural approach to self-care.

Tell Us More: Have you been wanting to learn more about herbalism but don’t know where to start? This is the class for you! In this beginner class you’ll learn in depth foundational herbal terminology to help develop your herbal knowledge, enrich your studies and gain more confidence in your home practice. You will be familiarized with herbal vocabulary and develop a better understanding surrounding plant parts used in herbal medicine making, herbal preparations, herbal actions and herbal energetics. All participants will leave with a printed material to take home and deepen their knowledge. Leave feeling enlightened, empowered and proud of yourself for taking this first step course.
