Wilderness Survival 101

Tell Me More: We've partnered up with the awesome people over at Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival to bring you this fantastic introductory outdoor survival class that will set you up with the basic skills to keep yourself warm, hydrated, and fed in the wilderness! This course will provide foundational skills appealing to hikers, campers, backpackers, trail runners, survivalists, outdoor enthusiasts and knowledge seekers alike and will leave you feeling more confident while adventuring in nature.

Skill Level: This is a beginner course, no prior experience or background necessary. In terms of physical agility, during this class light walking, gathering firewood, and otherwise generally seated activities like knot tying and carving can be expected. 

Age Requirement: We will welcome students of all ages, with no age minimum, rather a maturity standard. We leave it up to parents to decide if their child is mature enough for class. Any minor child must need to be accompanied by a parent. Price remains the same for each participant regardless of age. Please use your best judgement. 

What You Need To Bring:

  • Notebook and pen/pencil.
  • Lunch will NOT be provided. Please bring your own packed lunch, snacks and water.  
  • Weather appropriate clothing. This class will be held rain or shine, cold or hot, please dress accordingly. 
  • Sunscreen/Bug Spray. We will also bring some along to share in case you forget. 

Cancellation: This is a rain or shine event. All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued. 

Cost: $195/per participant. Pre-registration is required.
